Paul Peterson PHX VP/Client Services and StrategyYou know those maps in the back of an airline magazine that show the thousands of routes the airline services across the country? If plotted out on a map, Paul Peterson’s career (and time at McMurry/TMG) would look very similar. Not only is he a road warrior as VP of Client Service and Strategy for McMurry/TMG’s Phoenix office, but his 13-year career in marketing and public relations agencies has afforded him a veritable who’s-who list of client work across North America. In his current role, Paul leads a team of account strategists responsible for creating and maintaining long-term relationships with McMurry/TMG clients. Working as an extension of our client’s marketing team, he and the Client Service and Strategy team work with clients to help shape how content and digital marketing accomplishes their business objectives. A marketing generalist at heart, his client experience spans areas of health care, government, real estate, consumer products, American Indian tribes, high-tech communications, hospitality, entertainment and film. That same airline map analogy could be applied to Paul’s family life outside of work; with two little boys, Cash and Colin, constant movement is always the norm. The company is staffed by those supersmart kids in school you wanted to be absolutely sure were part of your group when it was group project time.
